Shape spires, tower roofs, and cones from measured layers
The Minecraft Cone Generator is for pointed roofs, wizard towers, chimneys, rockets, drills, and decorative spikes. It turns diameter and height into circular layers, keeping the taper centered instead of relying on guesswork.
Workflow
- Choose the base diameter and target height for the tower or foundation.
- Check the layer list for sudden jumps that may look jagged at small sizes.
- Build from the widest layer upward so the point stays centered.
- Use block counts to plan core material, roof material, and decoration separately.
Best for
- Castle roofs, wizard towers, spires, rockets, drills, tents, and decorative points.
- Comparing steep and shallow cones before building the base.
- Round pointed forms that need to sit cleanly on a cylinder or tower.
Planning notes
- Very narrow cones become jagged quickly; a larger diameter usually smooths the taper.
- Plan the top cap early if the build needs a flag, lightning rod, beacon, or finial.
- For the straight tower section below the roof, use the cylinder generator.
