Repeat a circle footprint into a clean vertical structure
The Minecraft Cylinder Generator is for towers, columns, silos, wells, tanks, pipes, and lighthouses. It repeats a round footprint through the height, making wall thickness, interior space, and material demand clear before construction.
Workflow
- Choose the diameter and height for the planned tower or shaft.
- Decide between hollow and filled behavior based on whether the interior should be usable.
- Copy the layer pattern upward consistently and mark floors or bands early.
- Use block counts to plan wall material, floors, glass, and trim separately.
Best for
- Towers, columns, lighthouses, tanks, pipes, silos, wells, and round rooms.
- Material checks for many repeated circular layers.
- Checking whether the interior still fits stairs, ladders, or lifts after wall thickness.
Planning notes
- Small hollow cylinders lose usable interior space quickly.
- Odd diameters make centered ladders, shafts, and stair layouts easier.
- For a closed roof, move next to the dome or cone generator.
