Plan stretched spheres and oval forms with separate axes
The Minecraft Ellipsoid Generator is for airships, eggs, blimps, oval rooms, stretched planets, and organic forms. Width, height, and depth can be controlled separately, so you can test silhouette and material demand without forcing a normal sphere to fit.
Workflow
- Set width, height, and depth to match the intended silhouette.
- Inspect middle and edge layers before committing to the full form.
- Use the 3D preview to catch proportions that are too flat, too tall, or skewed sideways.
- Adjust one axis at a time when fine-tuning the oval body.
Best for
- Airships, eggs, blimps, oval domes, stretched planets, and organic bodies.
- Builds where front view, side view, and height need different proportions.
- Testing the silhouette before turning a large organic structure into a detailed build.
Planning notes
- Small ellipsoids lose their oval character quickly; scale up when the axis difference matters.
- Check both front and side profiles because width and depth affect different views.
- If all axes should be equal, the sphere generator is simpler.
