Build rings, hoops, and portal frames with controlled thickness
The Minecraft Torus Generator is for donut shapes, sci-fi rings, portal frames, tires, orbital structures, and decorative arches. You control overall diameter and tube thickness separately, so the opening, weight, and material demand are clear before building.
Workflow
- Set the outer ring size first, then adjust the tube thickness.
- Check the layer view for disconnected sections, especially on small or thin rings.
- Use the 3D preview to judge the opening, thickness, and readability from a distance.
- Build in mirrored quadrants or layers so the ring stays round and aligned.
Best for
- Portals, hoops, space station rings, magic circles, decorative arches, and donut forms.
- Comparing a large opening against a thick tube before collecting materials.
- Builds where a flat circle is not enough and the ring needs real depth.
Planning notes
- Very thin torus shapes can break into disconnected block groups at small sizes.
- A thicker tube reads better from a distance but increases block count quickly.
- If you only need a flat ring on the ground, the circle generator is simpler.
